What do my garden and my blog have in common with David Bowie? Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!
I was experimenting with the format of my blog and before I knew it…changes were made and the old format was no longer available. I hope you like the new look!
The one feature I really like is the “Search” button on the top right. Just type in any ingredient or anything you’d like to cook or learn about the garden and you’ll see all my posts on that subject.
Also, check out the “Format” button on the top left next to the “Home” key. There are many quick ways to find a post or recipe that you’re looking for. Try the “Flipcard” and you’ll see what I mean.
One last tip–hover your mouse over the right side and you’ll access older blogs and you can sign up to receive my posts via email as soon as I write them.
Now for the changes in the garden. Just like the last time I went to New Orleans I came home last Sunday to a new batch of corn that had gone wild…
…and a huge crop of peppers. Last year I couldn’t get any to grow and this year the jalapenos are the hottest I’ve ever grown.
As you know, I’ve battled tomato problems lately. I picked these yesterday and noticed the horned-caterpillars eating one of my plants. The plant was so damaged I had to pull it out. And as far as the caterpillar, let’s just say, RIP, (it was an “organic” way to go).
One last bright spot–the passion fruit vines. There are a few fruit ripening on the vine and a few more flowers, so there’s hope for me.
And I hope you like the new look!
